Process Improvement Program / Quality Management System
PMQG Solutions designed and implemented a modern Quality Management System and
continuous Improvement Program for a Telecom Company, including process engineering
and process metrics.  With the assistance of PMQG, the Company was able to implement
the process improvement program in a very short period of time,which accelerated the
achievement of its business objectives. The company publicized its implementation of the
quality system, which improved its competitive Quality image by demonstrating its focus and
dedication to high standards / quality.

Elements of Process Engineering, Lean and Lean Six Sigma methodologies have been  
applied. Basic metrics system was also implemented to measure deployed processes.
Collected data was analysed to measure process effectiveness and to identify future process
improvement opportunities.

Project Management Processes
PMQG Solutions assisted a software Company in developing and implementing a Project
Management Process based on modern project management methodologies. The successfully
deployed Process consisted of four major Process Areas: Project Planning, Project
Execution, Project Monitoring & Control and Project Close.
A Project Management Handbook was developed to capture process details as well as
derive procedures to assure sustainability of the system. PMQG assisted in gathering
estimates and other planning data. Efficient metric system has been established to control and
measure process performance. The Project Management Process included application of
Elements of Lean and Lean Six Sigma process management methodologies and tools.
PMQG trained the Company’s staff and management in major aspects of modern process
management techniques and implementation of the newly established procedures in pilot
projects.
The Company dramatically improved their project planning, monitoring, control and project
delivery, in regards to scheduling, cost and other performance indicators by the Project
Management Process that was established and implemented.

Defect Management and Product Quality Metrics
PMQG Solutions developed and improved a Company’s systems in the following areas:
Defect Tracking, Incidents and Problem Management Systems.  A Product Quality Metrics
System was also established. PMQG applied Lean and Lean Six Sigma methodologies and
tools to perform various analyses such as: trend and defects flow analyses, root cause
analyses, cause-effect and Pareto analyses. The results of these analyses were used to derive
information on product quality, dynamic of faults and errors injected in different product life-
cycle phases.
The system allowed the Company to improve Product Quality, to reengineer product
development process; to reduce the number of defects, to reduce the effort spent on reworks
and defect removal.

Validation / Verification and Testing Strategies
Number of clients have hired PMQG employees specifically to manage the development and
optimization of Verification and Validation processes including testing of complex hardware
and software systems. They were responsible for organization and management of Quality
Control departments, test groups and management of Quality projects.  The application areas
included safety critical systems, space robotics, avionics systems, IT, software development
and mobile devices.
On all of these types of projects, PMQG employees were responsible for developing
life-cycle V&V and testing strategies. This work resulted in comprehensive and effective
quality processes, reduced testing cycles, higher quality products and higher customer
satisfaction.

Implementation of level 2 and 3 CMMI framework
PMQG employees managed the implementation of CMMI level 2 and 3 framework.  The
implementation includes the following key process areas: Project Planning, Project
Monitoring and Control, Requirements Management, Configuration Management, Quality
Assurance, Product Validation and Verification. Supportive manuals, plans and procedures
were developed to implement and sustain the processes.
