Peter is a strong proponent of modern managing by processes methodologies; incorporating approaches such as Lean and Six Sigma. He believes there are significant opportunities for business improvement through the implementation of management by process paradigm, particularly in the services and high technology sectors. Peter says: “Many organizations lag behind industry leaders, unable to profit from the advantages offered by new methodologies. They have yet to discover the benefits of aggressive process improvement initiatives being successfully deployed by their competitors. Decision-makers in the production sector, including technology, often display over-confidence in their technical abilities to maintain a competitive advantage.
